As a marketing executive, you’ll need to:

  • create awareness of and develop the brand you’re marketing
  • communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships
  • help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
  • source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press or on the radio.
  • organize and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
  • source and secure sponsorship
  • liaise with designers and printers and organize photo shoots
  • arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
  • maintain and update customer databases
  • conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups
  • develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and letters
  • Manage the reception area to ensure it is clean and organized at all times
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
  • Maintain a record of incoming and outgoing guests and employees
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and policies
  • Provide support to other team members as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
